BREEDING

Our breeding program is focused on leafy vegetable suitable for the BAY LEAF PRODUCTION and on open field crop as ONION, BEETROOT and CARROT.

A young and motivated team works to obtain new products with added value in terms of resistance to diseases, abiotic stress and with highly innovative features as extended shelf life and product consistency.

HYBRID F1. We work to offer products with greater vigour and uniformity as well as to get the most innovative resistances.
Products that show the optimal balance between the desired characteristics and that show good adaptability to specific growing areas

SHELF LIFE. we put a lot of effort to develop new varieties with extended shelf life and improved leaf structure

DISEASE RESISTENCE SCREENING

On our laboratories we screen more than 5000 lettuce plants for bremia lactucae resistance and more than 1000 lines of WILD ROCKET and CHARD for downy mildew tolerance.

A screening activity is carried out both in laboratories and infected fields to select LETTUCE, WILD ROCKET and ONION varieties tolerant to fusarium oxysporum.
